3D Toolbar Explanation
I like to work with the design in 2D so the screen has clearer
hoop area markings and no clumsy hoop showing. Touching “3D
icon” toggles from 2D to 3D.

I use the resize mode most of the time because the mirror on the
top and left side of the outline box are easier for perfect placement
of the design. When
you touch the “resize icon”, the button toggles from resize with
hollow handles and mirrors to “rescale” which has solid handles
and mirrors.
The top pointed mirror is the “vertical mirror” and
the left side one is the “horizontal mirror”.
When a design is on the screen, it will have a “center of
rotation” tool in the center of the design. It is a that
circle with a red pointed arrow. When you rotate a design with
the rotation button on the right side of the outline box, it will
rotate from wherever that tool is located. You can drag it anywhere
you want on the design. If you would would drag that circle to
the tip ribbon, the ribbon will rotate from the tip instead of
from the center. After using the tool, it always snaps back to
center again.
When you move a design around on the screen, you might accidentally
touch this at the center of the design. Don’t worry about
it. I simply drag it out of the way if I want to make sure I get
my cursor right on that crosshair which represents the center of
design and move my design where I want. Many times you need to
touch right at the center of a design and this makes it easier.
